3.Troubleshooting
Q. I am running IPweb and screens do not seem to be loading. In the place
where I expect something to appear I only see a plug-in icon. What should
I do?
A. One or more plug-ins are not installed correctly for your browser. Scroll
to the top of this screen. The screen will show you which plug-ins are not
working. If your plug-ins are installed correctly you will be able to see
a flashing graphic. If you do not see this graphic, you should click on the
links at the bottom of this page and download updated plug-ins.
Q. I don't see any graphics but I hear the sound on most activity screens.
What is wrong?
A. You probably have FlashTM 2.0 instead
of FlashTM 3.0 or above installed on your
computer. Download the current Flash plug-in and try again.
Macintosh only:
Q. My browser gives me a message that it is running low on memory. What should
I do?
A. Try quitting any other applications you have open. If this does not work,
try allocating more memory to your browser. To do this, locate the "Netscape
Navigator" program on your hard disk. Click on it once and select "Get
Info" from the "File" menu. In the information dialog box under
Memory Requirements increase the Preferred Size. A good starting point for
Navigator 4.0 is 20,000K.
